Spoils @ Work

Working right next to Suria KLCC is proving to be detrimental to my purse.

Definitely overpriced, but I couldn't stop thinking these booties after catching a glimpse of them (or them of me?? Sometimes I wonder... you know what they say, you don't choose the wand, the wand chooses you... *cue harry potter BGM*) during my usual lunch hour stroll. Managed to march myself back to the office, sat down for a good 15 minutes (admittedly, I was checking out the TopShop website to gaze at the 2D version...) before I rushed back down to the shop with my card ready. Had to tell the salesgirl to keep my booties behind the counter till I could pick it up later in the evening coz I couldn't possibly go back to the office with a gorgeous but huge shopping bag - "Shopaholic" doesn't really go with the serious, shrewd banker image I'm trying (note italicized word) to portray.

Found this while window-shopping after lunch a couple of days ago. This time, I made sure I only brought enough money for a cheap lunch, so I wouldn't be tempted so easily. Long story short... at least I thought it through for a good 48 hours before making the purchase after work today, so technically it was a decision made rationally. Was the last piece! Phew...? Well, it's a little big, but I'm sure I can get it fixed. Or I could always wear it as a mini-dress! ...Sigh this was a mistake, huh?
